Tuesday, December 15th at the Physick House, 2nd floor - Cincinnati Room (map)
6:30-8:30 pm
The Letter Apron Club is a three-class series focused on the epistolary form. It takes its name from the 18th century “Leather Apron Club,” a group founded by our very own Ben Franklin, whose purpose was to debate moral, political, and philosophical questions of the times. In this workshop series we will be experimenting with collaboration and alternative approaches to letter-writing. Workshoppers in the Letter Apron Club will create entirely fictionalized, handwritten love and kinship letters, which will ultimately be published in a small zine with the help of a local artist/photographer.
Because this is a three part class, we ask that you purchase the whole package to participate. You can find this in our online store! Dates for the Letter Apron Club are December 1st, December 8th, and December 15th.
