Join us downstairs at the Physick House for a reading with the Backyard Writers, a collective run by H&H chapbook author Patrick McNeil (You Champion). There will be snacks and drinks starting at 7, and readings starting at 8.

The Backyard Writers Workshop is a fiction workshop that was founded in 2011 by a handful of writers who circled up for reasons of support, perspective, and accountability. Since that first circling, the Backyard Writers have produced some of Philadelphia's most promising fiction--their work has appeared in both local publications--like Apiary Magazine and The Head & The Hand Press--and national--such as Tin House and Zoetrope: All Story.
