Come and join us at the Mural City Cellars Pop-up Garden for a bilingual (English/Spanish) reading of Slide!/¡Deslizate!, a book inspired by what some consider the best slide in Philadelphia, the historic wooden slide at Smith Playground. Let’s all gather and discover why this gem of a playground attracts visitors from around the world and then author Cynthia Rafetto Kreilick will lead families in some fun, time-tested gravity and friction experiments after the reading.

Age range: 3-7. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Author
​​Cynthia Rafetto Kreilick founded Morning Circle Media in 2011. She has worked in children’s television production, museum education, journalism and early childhood education. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a degree in International Relations. She speaks Spanish, French and Russian, and lives with her husband in Oreland, Pennsylvania. Her two adult children live in Philadelphia and New Hampshire.
